Get a taste of this Baja Mexicana restaurant’s invigorating atmosphere through Doohickey’s TacoLu website design. Inspired by the festive restaurant itself, we sought to create a website that would capture the restaurant’s unique personality and Mexican culture.
The TacoLu website design includes an organized blog, stunning photography, and of course the delectable TacoLu menu. While designing this website, we wanted to attract potential customers to the food as well as atmosphere. To accomplish this goal, we used a photo slider at the top of the page, which showcases the TacoLu restaurant, dishes, and happy guests. As a result, we’re able to show off everything that makes the Lu.
What started as a little taco shack has since grown into a familiar Jacksonville eatery. Their menu includes salads, enchiladas, quesadillas, and (of course) tacos. Among their tacos, the Bangin’ Shrimp has become a fan favorite; so much so that the restaurant’s food truck was named after it! We wanted to create a logo that would embody the company for years to come, while remaining as distinctive as the Lu itself.
The TacoLu website design was part of a larger branding initiative that included new menus and the restaurant’s familiar logo.
