Over the years, the James Bond films have won numerous accolades in a range of categories. For the NEFBA Laurel Awards call for entries flyer design, we wanted to create a design that was clean, engaging, and conveyed a clear goal: To encourage event guests to submit their entries for the Laurel Awards’ own accolades.
In order to accomplish this goal, we focused on using white space to our advantage. We also organized the information into two tiers, using red as a contrast to the existing black and white content to draw the eyes to each category. As a result, we’re able to keep the information organized while engaging the event guests. To complete the design, we used the 2018 Laurel Awards logo design we created, which was inspired by the event’s 007 theme. By adding the familiar James Bond whirls into the design, these flyers complement other marketing materials Doohickey created for the occasion.
The annual Laurel Awards event celebrates the best and brightest real estate marketing professionals in Northeast Florida. Hosted by the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA), the event honors companies and individuals in real estate sales and marketing for their accomplishments over the past year.
