For the NEFBA Laurel Awards banner ad design, we wanted to inspire “sheer magnetism” towards their James Bond-themed event. To accomplish this goal, we developed a design that would be reminiscent of the familiar special agent while simultaneously marketing the black-tie function.
The resulting banner ad features the classic James Bond gun barrel swirls alongside the logo we created just for this event. The logo combines tuxedo imagery and a nailgun where 007’s familiar Walther PPK is usually displayed. By drawing influence from these familiar visual elements, the design uses recognition to snag interest. We also used these design elements in other marketing materials for the event. As a result, we’re able to create a brand identity for the 2018 Laurel Awards, so the event’s guests will quickly recognize relevant marketing materials.
The annual Laurel Awards event celebrates the best and brightest real estate marketing professionals in Northeast Florida. Hosted by the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA), the event honors companies and individuals in real estate sales and marketing for their accomplishments over the past year.
